My area of focus in my practice includes anxiety, depression, school issues, coping skills, trauma, and foster care issues. My approach As a therapist, I often utilize interventions from various frameworks including trauma informed, client centered and culturally competent perspectives. My focus I have a passion for working with adolescents and young adults who are apart of marginalized communities via telehealth. My communication style I find that being transparent and collaborative with my clients is beneficial to their therapeutic experience and our working relationship. My journey to therapy I have an extensive experience working with community based, residential and school mental health settings in the Bay Area, CA. I have a passion for working with adolescents and young adults in assisting them in developing and utilizing the necessary coping skills to manage and care for themselves and feel empowered in their life choices while addressing systemic barriers and historical traumas.
